My joy for a story from Mindy Steele never disappoints! I related to Barbara’s story in many ways. It’s hard not knowing or understanding your place within family, friends, and in the community. I had that difficulty at times while growing up. But just like Barbara, family stood by me and loved me unconditionally just as hers did. Her story touches your heart as she finds her way. Learning to take chances and meeting a special someone along the way made for page turning scenes that kept me wanting more. And learning about flower quilts was something special! I had no idea these were created. I loved how these flowed through the story and made the perfect settings. A beautiful read for sure and for certain!
