Dark Match is the first book in The Following Contest series. You are introduced to Kevin Davidson, a mediocre independent wrestler who wants nothing more than to make it to the WWE and big contracts to provide for him and his girlfriend Julie Montgomery. After a fall while wrestling that knocks him unconscious, Kevin awakes to find that he has psychic abilities, including clairvoyance, ESP, and the ability to see the future.
Kevin finds that having these powers can be both a blessing and a curse. As his new powers drag him into a life he never imagined, he must decide to help a young boy whose future is very dark, while trying to reconcile the truth of his first vision: if he continues to wrestle, he will be killed in the ring.

Its a good book
Loved the story. Can't wait for more
Not for everyone...
This book was written decently, but in all honesty, if your bot a wrestling fan, or more specifically a wwe and prowrestling.net fan, you probably won't get much out of this. To me, as the story transitions from his pro wrestling to him becoming a psychic or what not, if feels like a semi truck trying to take a turn at full speed.
Great story but with typo's
The story itself was very interesting. I found myself not wanting to put the book down. This book is a good read for any wrestling fan. It's only problems were to many typo's. Not sure who edited it, but they missed several missed spelled words or words in wrong spots. Just a small complaint to what was a really good read and story.
