A case of mistaken identity turns a bad situation worse.

Mychal Ayscue had a great life. A doctoral degree before thirty, all while being an apt pupil of the martial arts. A successful book in her field to match a solid academic career at one of New York's best colleges. To top it all off, she is offered a foreign exchange position in beautiful Madrid. It could not have come at a better time because Mychal is a woman in trouble. She heads to her new life in a strange new country with a terrible secret. One that threatens to change her very life as well as the lives of those around her.

When the new foreign exchange professor arrives and it is not the "man" that was hired for the job, Richard García-Torres is infuriated! A bossy, yet gorgeous woman with a man's name shows up to stay in his home for a whole year, bringing all her head strong ideals. Once his initial shock wears off, Richard's attraction is almost immediate. He attempts to make the best out of a mistaken identity disaster, which only draws him deeper into the mystery and passion of the woman he wanted to kick out on her first day.
