Written in the tradition of James Fenimore Cooper’s Leather Stocking Tails “Last if the Mohicans” it is a Anglo American - Manifest Destiny take on settling of Kentucky. An enjoyable read, with an “old fashion” voice. The 3rd person narrative is less than tempered, but much of the mountain man habits & actions seem well documented.
