The Forgotten Ones

This is a story of Onyx, a rescued puppy waiting for her fur ever home and the adventures and friends she meets along the way.
It is a tale of her young life as she grows into an adult while living in the shelter. All the while she patiently waits for a real family of her own. She loves making new friendships with dogs and humans along the way. Her focus is on her forgotten senior dogs. Many of these dogs are somehow looked over and forgotten. She quickly becomes their voice and strives to keep their hope strong while they too patiently wait, sometimes for years, to have a home of their own.
The story is about finding strength and courage in sometimes dire situations. It is teaching to learn to trust and the never ending search to love and be loved. The hope that Onyx tries to instill in her friends at the shelter is warm and heartfelt.
