Publisher Description
The Four Seasons (Italian Le quattro stagioni) is perhaps the most famous work by Antonio Vivaldi. It consists of four violin concertos with extramusical programs; each concerto portrays a season. Now there is a version available in duo form: Christoph Dingler has arranged the entire work for two violins. After years of playing together with his sister as The Twiolins, he was able to incorporate his duo experience into the arrangement of Vivaldi’s masterpiece. Whether on the big stage or at home: both violin parts capture the magnificent music almost completely, allowing for a performance without an orchestra.
