Redundant, but a very convincing theory of history
History is seasonal.

Not often do you come across a person or a book that literally transforms how you view and interpret your world. The Fourth Turning and its sequel have done so for me. I am an avid reader of history so to find a book that gives me a lens through which to not only view history but to more completely understand my own personal history and of those in my social world, has been transformative. I find the concepts and passages of this book echoing through my mind in my daily interactions with those around me or as I watch the news unfold which can often seem so beyond “normal” that you think it must be a prank. The book is like putting on a pair of glasses that brings so much more into focus than what your previous pair had allowed to pass as clarity. I have purchased extra copies for friends that are similarly inclined. I vigorously recommend giving this a read.
