“Thought-provoking, gritty, and darkly sensual, The Game Maker seduces with hope and tenderness and shocks with twists you won’t see coming. This is Kitty Thomas at her best!”, Charmaine Pauls, USA Today Bestselling author
I was too isolated. I was about to be evicted. I made a final desperate call to the man who ruined my life, but he didn't come for me.
Someone else did.
And then there was Seven. When I first woke in the cell, I thought he was my captor, but he is a pawn, like me.
Seven is beautiful and kind. I want him so much I can barely breathe. He wants to protect me from our captor, but he can't.
We are both locked inside a game neither of us can ever hope to win, and even though it's wrong, I'm starting to want both men, not just the good one... the monster as well.
For long time readers, this is like a love letter to her fans.
For new readers, buckle up because you are in for one hell of a ride. This has a HEA and is just one super well paced read that excels at being simple to digest.
I actually made a joke on her thread that went something like this:
Interviewer: What is it like to read a Kitty Thomas book?
Me: She, “possesses the most terrifying combination of brilliance, evil, and patience. And I’m the unlucky lottery winner...”🤣😆
Yes, this is a line from her book and it truly is this engaging. She actually responded with, you misspelled lucky. 😛
I highly recommend this book to new and veteran readers alike. This book has everything you want in a Kitty book with all the twists you come to expect.
Intriguing, dark & twisty!!
What an intriguing, dark, twisty tale this was, but I totally loved it! Kate’s life has pretty much fallen apart (thanks to a man no less), when she makes a rash decision while sitting at a bar, and makes a phone call that changes everything. She wakes up in a cell, with a man, and another man calling the shots. And this is where things start turning a bit dark & some twists come in. And you can’t put it down!! Gripping & fascinating!
