Women: gain control and confidence in your love lives and find the relationship you want with this modern, life-changing guide from the certified sex educator, intimacy expert, and YouTube personality.
For younger generations, dating is a complicated mystery. Apps like Tinder and Bumble are supposed to foster connection, but instead serve as a reminder of how painfully single we are.
Certified sexologist and intimacy coach Shan Boodram—the most sought-after sex educator on the internet—is about to change all that. In this essential how-to guide, she addresses the realities of life today—when the rules of love and attraction are fluid—and teaches a group of young women how to become master daters in just sixty days.
It starts with you. Shan makes clear that love and self-discovery go hand in hand—your dating life is just as much about you as it is about other people. She challenges you to look inside yourself for what you want out of a partner, a relationship and, most important, yourself. Once you figure out what you want from dating, she shows you exactly how to get it. The Game of Desire empowers you to take the lead, learn your strengths, and identify and correct your weaknesses, all the while getting inspired watching a group of women learn how to succeed in today’s dating pool.
While many books tell women why they can’t get a date, Shan teaches you the skills and techniques necessary to take charge in today’s competitive and often confusing dating scene, providing the tools essential to attract—and retain—the partner(s) you want. From learning love languages to debunking dating myths, she helps women build knowledge and confidence.
Featuring conversational case studies, comprehensive facts about the psychology of sex and romance, and expert insight into sex culture, and written with her trademark humor and charm, The Game of Desire is a must for all of Shan’s fans and for every woman struggling to feel loved and desired.
APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Forget what you think you know about dating—sexologist Shan Boodram is here to take you back to school. In her funny, personable book, she asserts that landing the person of your dreams starts with you. To illustrate that point, while providing us with quizzes and questions to help us get to know ourselves better, she details a summer spent guiding six women into new dating habits. Boodram dares to be blunt, but is never unkind. The “game” in the title leaves no one on the sidelines, and this coach—who’s fearless enough to confirm an ex’s allegation of her struggles with BO—charmed us with her ability to level the playing field.

Awesomeness in book form!
This book was awesome from beginning to end! It doesn’t matter what your relationship status is, you too can gain something from this literary masterpiece. From incredible stories of a journey we all go on to helpful tips on everyday life situations. I loved everything about this book!
Awesome
What I love most about this book is it's about empowering the participants (and reader) with tools to build their confidence in dating instead of prioritizing how to impress the person they're attracted to. Learning to enhance the person that you already are is WAY more valuable in building relationships than being a social chameleon. We can sometimes forget that our affection and time are just as precious as our love interests' so the tools on how to practice being more intentional with who we choose are helpful. The book gave the reader a walkthrough and the reasoning for each technique the group tried. Many of the techniques can be used outside of romantic relationships. The experiments were interesting, bold, and fun to read (*in my Randy Jackson voice* But the vagina juice one is a no for me dog). I enjoyed reading about the growth of each person and felt appreciative that they allowed Shan to share their experiences with us. I also loved how honest Shan was about her growth from working with the group. By the end of the book, I was proud of each person (I was literally smiling like they could see me). Shan seemed to do a great job being attentive to the needs of the group while also emboldening them to push past their comfort zone. I've bookmarked some parts to practice for myself. LOL this'll be interesting.
