The Gammadion

A mission for the princes of Europe precipitates Venetian nobleman Giovanni di Montercervino into romance and danger at the court of Arghun, Mongol ruler of Persia.

Arghun, the great-great-grandson of Temuchin, is dying. But there are those who would hasten his death for political reasons, while others would sacrifice his wife Nadia for personal ones. Beautiful and talented, but victim of a barbaric Mongol marriage law which passes her from ruler to ruler, Nadia desires only to protect her son until he reaches manhood. Torn between her duty as a wife and her love for the Christian envoy, she must discover the identity of her secret enemy before it is too late.
