The Garden Realm Guide to Edible Plant Families
Publisher Description
Many gardeners have discovered the benefits of companion planting and crop rotation but in order to effectively implement these tools, gardeners need a good knowledge of plant families. This is where ‘The Garden Realm Guide to Edible Plant Families’ is useful. It gives an overview of why a knowledge of plant families is important and then details the plant families of the most commonly grown edible plants as well as the plant families of flowers that are commonly integrated with edible crops; flowers that attract beneficial predatory insects for example. Green manure crops are also included as they are often rotated with edible plants and many are themselves edible. The dictionary-style plant lists included in this book are easy to use and form an important resource for gardeners who wish to implement companion planting and crop rotation in order to improve the health of their soil as well as their plants.

Pronounce
I am a beginner and love the information. I had no idea about the different families, diseases and how to avoid them. The only tip I can share with the author and reader is that it would be a plus if under the family names there would be a guide on how to pronounce the names. It would help to keep the info. in a gardening file in the mind ( easier) 😁
