Once relentlessly cheerful, Edward has been a tad peevish lately. Traveling to his brother's cottage is meant to prove his usefulness to the earldom and restore his good humor. Upon arrival, he discovers two unexpected houseguests pretending to be his cousins and immediately finds himself wanting to help. The Gentleman Was Right is the second in the Greydon series. While it can be read as a standalone, Edward is a prominent secondary character in The Earl Was Wrong and readers may appreciate meeting him in that story first.
