The Ghosts of Egypt

Framed as a biographical description of a supernatural event, The Ghosts of Egypt is a short story in five chapters. It tells the story of Margrette, a wealthy young Englishwoman, who entreated by up-and-coming archaeologist Arthur Stevenson to fund an expedition to Egypt at the turn of the century. Margrette agrees on one condition: that she be allowed come along. In the tomb that they discover, she witnesses an inexplicable event . . . and an eternal love.
