The Glass Box

For philandering financial advisor Tracy Blakeney, the fall of 2008 was a turbulent yet enlightening time. The stock market and economy were in a catastrophic free fall, and for the first time in our nation’s history, the Whitest House in America, was about to have a non-white resident. However, that all paled in comparison to the impact that she had on Tracy that life-changing autumn.

 

Tracy thought he had a handle on money, women, and what it meant to be both black and white in a country where you were either black or white. But times were changing, and a redirection was immanent, both for the country and for Tracy. But in Tracy’s case, the impending cultural and financial pivot was more than an imploding economy, or a splash of black on 1600 Pennsylvania Ave; Tracy’s redirection involved blood flow, which for the first time in his adult life was being diverted from his g******s to his heart.
