Publisher Description

A collection of poems has been presented in this book. It is a record of things deeply felt, seen and experienced—this, first of all and chiefly. The lesson of what is recorded is incidental and implicit. It is left to the discovery of the reader, and yet is so plainly indicated that he cannot fail to discover it.

Insightful

This book does a great job of explaining why soldiers who left the front were so willing to go back.
It speaks of brotherhood and love for their fellow soldiers in the trenches. That they are ready to sacrifice themselves in an instant for one another. What an amazing books and an amazing look into the heart and mind of a ww1 soldier.
