Profound Gnostic Christian Wisdom Explained
The Pistis Sophia Unveiled was written from the direct experiences of the author with the Master Jesus of Nazareth from within the dream yoga state. In it, Samael Aun Weor unveiled the profound Alchemical and Kabbalistic teachings of the Holy Master from Galilee, which have eluded scholars and religious practitioners for years. Therefore in order to comprehend this work, one must have practical, working knowledge of the sciences of Alchemy and Kabbalah, not merely from having read books, but through direct mystical experience. That is why the Pistis Sophia is so cryptic, and why the language of the Master Jesus is so hard to interpret. Part of that enigma is alleviated through the commentary by Samael Aun Weor, yet in order to benefit most from the exegesis and the original scripture, the student should have a working knowledge of Alchemy and Kabbalah, since the unveiling of this text is the culmination of a lifetime of esoteric study and experience, and is therefore significantly advanced.
The author has only unveiled two thirds of "The Pistis Sophia" in that serious practitioners must come to realize these truths within themselves. It is a work for initiates, and by initiates we do not denominate people from a specific religion, culture or order. Instead, this signifies any individuals who have "initiated" or begun the psychological work on themselves, thereby acquiring genuine spiritual experience or gnosis. This is not just a matter of believing, but is a matter of actually traversing the straight and narrow path (Matthew 7:14) through performing the necessary works.
