Excellent Book
Loved this book! The characters were extremely well written. Having worked in the legal profession, I found the trial mesmerising. Great investigative work!! Another excellent book by Michael Connelly!
Lose the politics
I have been an avid reader of Michael Connelly’s books, working my way through them in order. I do not like the interjection of the author’s political opinions. I believe this is not what people look for in the enjoyment of a novel. Before purchasing the next book in order of publication I always read many of the reviews posted in the Apple “books” APP. For the next Connelly book in sequence I am seeing so many complaints about political ranting that I have decided to give his novels a rest.
