The Gods of Mars
Bearing in mind the era, the fact they were Pulp Fiction installments and meant to entice to the next installment; I find these Great. Some datedness with the early concepts of sci-fi but for their period excellent works that for people of the era could really be riveted wondering what happens next. Only occasional overkill with the amounts of time he is imprisoned that would’ve driven most utterly mad, but he was attroubting the ideals of the men of the period on his character. Throughly enjoyable unless you try to hold it to modern standards, which quite honestly have slipped.a mite anyway. I’m only sorry I caught onto these later in life, and while I’ll try and watch the movie later I dobut it will have translated well by modern PC standards.
Excellent, but...
This second book is as good as the first one, but... A cliffhanger? Really? :)
