The Golden Box

THESE ARE THE WRITINGS of a young teenager who has grown up in a small town, the writing expresses fears and feelings as the young man deals with many things for the first time and struggles to define who he is and who he wants to be.



Through the entries we see this teenage boy start to use his poetry as a diary, but then after he moves to the city he transforms his work into much more. We see the individual go through many situations as we follow him from a boy to a young adult.



The book seems to darken as he puts his frustrations and struggles on paper trying to make sense of the many new things entering his life not knowing how the world really works and weather it has a place he is destined to fill.



The young man starts a quest against the Government he feels betrays him and the upper class he feels looks down on him but finds the true enemy is the corporations modern society can no live with out.
