Customer Reviews
Great book, but not if you're in the mood for something with a modern feel
This is one of the first books to ever win the Newberry Award for Children's Literature. I can't remember if it was written in the 20's or the 30's, but I know that it was between the two World Wars. Given this, it doesn't have the same modern feel as current children's books, but it's great for what it is. Don't buy this if you want something more by Rick Riordan because this isn't it. I understand why iTunes is marketing this book in this fashion, but I think it's unfair to both authors.
