The Golden Locket

Once, in a meadow full of spectacular golden flowers, lived a beautiful girl called Rosa.  Rosa was a very nice girl but some people who knew her had no idea where she lived.

Rosa was a princess and lived in a castle in the countryside which was surrounded by a huge forest.  She was once walking through the dark until she reached a stone path. 

When Rosa reached the end of a stone path a boy called John was waiting for her.

‘Hello Rosa!’  he called happily. ’I’ll race you to the tower!’

‘Beat you!’  she called back.  She zoomed down the edge of a stream, right behind John.  The stream curled around the tower but when no one was looking, two men stepped out of the shadows of the nearby trees.

‘So that’s where she lives,’ a man in a black suit said.  The second man looked at him and they silently agreed to go inside. They pushed open a door and pure darkness fell upon them.
