The Grasshopper and the Ants

A merry grasshopper sings, dances and plays his violin to his heart’s content.  He’s rather poor - like many artists - but he does not mind because everyone loves his music. Well, almost everyone. There’s a family of ants who have no time for fun. All the ants do is work, work, work.


The seasons go by, and spring turns first to summer, then to autumn and finally to a cold, hard winter. The grasshopper is hungry, and he goes to ask the ants for help. Aesop’s wise fable is retold with narration, music, and sound effects in sync with the text and colourful illustrations.
