The Great War

The war between Apollo and Artemis was never supposed to happen.

While wolves bled for the gods they loved, something older and more patient moved through the chaos, taking wolves from both sides and reaching into the self to pull at the threads of who they were.

Bakari the griot speaks the names of the taken three times a day. He does not know why. He only knows that silence feels like help offered to the wound.

The wolves need both the moon and the sun. They have always needed both. Someone very old has been counting on them not to know that.

The Great War is the third book in the Pale Strand Trilogy.
