The Grey Room

It is a mystery and detective book. The grey room is a sleeping apartment supposed to be haunted by a ghost because two people have mysteriously died there. Several other inexplicable deaths hold the reader in suspense, until an Italian nobleman discovers a secret that goes back four hundred years to the Borgias. More careful characterization, and better constructed than the usual mystery story.
