A Delicate Subject Well Handled!
Charlotte Beaver is still a busy vet apprentice at the Griffin Clinic. When a call comes in for help with processing a large collection of illegal mythical animals, Charlotte jumps to volunteer! But what greets her at the processing center is beyond her worst nightmare. Charlotte is having a hard time processing the way these animals have been treated and abused and that there are just some of them that can’t be saved. But as they finally get a handle on the huge assortment of animals and start finding places for them to go, she begins to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Even better, she is able to continue care for a few of her favorite animals as they come to the Griffin Clinic.
This is a very difficult subject to write about, but the author does an excellent job of presenting the reality without getting into too graphic of detail. Excellently done!.
