This minibook features 20 of 100 interviews with nonunion theatre performers conducted over a course of 5 years. The identity of each performer remains anonymous in order to gather honest and fearless responses. This allows readers to get a glance at the true obstacles and necessary dedication to pursue this career.


The purpose of this book is to help performers gain insight that every personal story has value and inspire them to be appreciative of their own narrative.  Although there are a multitude of different experiences and opinions in our industry, we all have our ups and downs. Whether you are part of the majority or the minority in experience, you opinion matters.
