Some storms aren't meant to be survived—they're meant to be outlived. 

In the isolated, salt-sprayed town of The Cove, history is written in the water. For Cal, a fisherman with a reckless streak a mile wide, the ocean has always been a place to bury his ghosts. He treats the local legends of cleansing tides and punishing seas as little more than excuses—until he meets Skye. 

Skye is a woman of precision, spreadsheets, and cold, hard data. She arrives in The Cove with a mission to debunk the town's superstitions, armed with enough logic to map the ocean floor. But she didn't count on the magnetism of the town's most wounded hero, or the way he challenges every controlled, predictable boundary she's spent her life building. 

As a massive storm bears down on the coast, the barrier between the myth and the reality begins to crumble. Forced to shelter in a desolate cottage on the edge of the world, Cal and Skye find themselves trapped in a crucible of their own making. 

Stripped of their defenses, they are forced to confront the truth: they aren't just fighting the weather—they're fighting their own pasts. To build a future, they'll have to decide if they're brave enough to stop running from their shadows and start trusting in each other.
