Animal House with a Soul
This was an incredibly funny and at times cringe read. It definitely got me through a difficult time. Sometimes you need to laugh. Can’t wait to see where Ham’s story goes.
I wish I had the Hammy Grail 6 years ago
the hammy grail is truly a great read! It is a true depiction of with it is like in higher education and provided tips on topics many authors stray away from. It is brash, blunt, and very authentic. I wish there was a book like this around when I entered college in 2011. I would recommend this as a gift to any student preparing to leave the nest and head to college. This is a book I'll past down to my son 30 years from now!
Funny as hell
The Hammy Grail is that great. Not only does it provide the creative and descriptive approach to writing, it also gives the reader something to actually enjoy that is light-hearted in the approach, but still shows an artful craft that is unmatched. The book takes you on a journey that is relatable to the college/life experience and will have you chuckling to yourself in a Starbucks while reading. So what if you look crazy, if you do, then the book did its job. It certainly did for me.
