Han Solo Adventures !!!

I happened across Star's End at the library when I was in highschool around '86/'87 I fell in love with the story and Daley's writing style. I wish he would have been able to contribute more stories to the Star Wars universe. I loved the glimpses into Han's military training and fighter skills. I bought this trilogy when I found it at the book store and again when it was released digital copy. I wnated to be sure I always had it at my fingertips.

Still the best

In its infancy, Brian Daley understood the tone of Star Wars better than Lucas himself. These three short novels, along with Star Wars (nope, not going to call it "A New Hope") and Empire are the universe I fell in love with as a kid. Once Lucas realized he had a license to print money, that universe changed, and not for the better. Pity that Daley died before he was able to contribute more than these three novels and the scripts for the NPR radio adaptations of the OT (the first two of which are excellent - ROTJ suffered from being too truncated).
