Don't buy it in this format
The book is great. The format could not be much worse! It is not ePub and looks like it is the awful iBooks format, so you can't view full size pages because of the awful side by side page layout.
I just wasted $18.00. Should have checked out the format on Amazon.
Great book!
As a beginning woodworker, I have found this book invaluable. It takes you through planing techniques with many different types of planes. There are pictures on nearly every page, which really makes the techniques easy to understand. I'd consider this a must read for anybody getting started with hand planes!
