The Hard-Boiled Egg

Ellis Parker Butler (1869 – 1937) was a prolific American author of more than 30 books and more than 2000 stories and essays. The biggest recognition gained due to his famous short story “Pigs is Pigs”, and the famous character in his fiction world was Philo Gubb.
