Brief stories of incredible athletes and what they had to overcome to achieve their goals, fight through pain, encourage others, continue when they wanted to quit. The author shares his experiences as an Olympic athlete, working with and watching Olympic athletes. He shares stories of sportsmanship as well as the challenges to becoming better humans. Woven throughout is the “secret sauce” that takes an athlete from good to great. Every page makes you feel better about being part of humanity and how as individuals we each play an important role in God’s plan for the universe.
