When the Legion pairs her with a new petty officer, Milo, a mysterious angel who seems as annoyed as she is to be teamed together, they head to New York City on a lead and things quickly move from bad to worse.
Hades is angry. Hades wants revenge. Now, as the pagan god’s threat grows stronger and plagues the mortal world with evil, Alexa must decide whether to trust the secretive Milo and find a way to come together and defend everything they hold dear—before it’s too late…

2nd book down now.
Love the book, finally something to read that is thrilling and action packed
Just okay, easy read while I wind down
Alexa is such a silly character. Through the first book I was willing to believe that some of her antics were just due to her being a teenager, but the more I read the more annoyed I get with the decisions she makes, or rather the way in which her thoughts are portrayed while she makes said decisions. I stay for the mindlessness because I needed a few books to wind down for the day, but not sure I’ll enjoy reading the next one. Still going to give it a shot, the story seems like it could be interesting? Maybe?
This book is very good, if you want to talk about the theme and plot of the book, that is.
I really enjoyed reading this book, and I will probably end up buying every book in the series. With that being said, I noticed many punctuation and grammar errors throughout this book. I don’t want to be too judge mental because I know writing a book can take a lot of time and effort, let alone an entire series, however I would enjoy this book a lot more, and give it a 5 star review, if the grammar and punctuation was better. I am giving a 4 star review because I genuinely enjoyed this book, however it could’ve been an easy 5 star if was edited better. Thank you for taking the time to read my review, and I can’t wait to read the next books!
