The Herald of Mercy is a publication made up of various writings by Christian preachers from the 1800s. It originated as a monthly magazine compiled by Scottish evangelist Duncan Matheson and featured contributions from men such as C. H. Spurgeon, F. B. Meyer, D. L. Moody, William Luff, Ira Sankey, A. J. Gordon, A. A. Hodge.
Each issue contains "old-school" gospel writings and thought provoking messages. There is often a Children's section and some poetry.
