Dark but good
Without spoiling anything. The book is heavy and doesn’t stray from it’s dark tones. I will say that I enjoyed that it had little to no sexual violence in it as well. I find it distasteful and over used. Will be picking up the next book, hopefully it is as good as this one.
Cringey Title is a Disservice
I was turned off from the series for a while based on the vibe of the title. The MC is actually a decent dude who’s given a really bad hand. The ‘rewind’ is plausible and the love interest isn’t attracted to him just because. There’s significant enough complexity to make the story interesting but not so much that it’s overdone. Well worth a read if you enjoy a good revenge plot.
