Well written book
The Hidden Hindenburg is a very well-researched and written account of not only the fate of the Hindenburg but long-concealed reports of using Zeppelin plants and machinery to produce war materials for Nazi Germany.
Production of tank parts and partial and complete V2 rockets is well explained. Reports of slave labor in these productions are also well detailed.
Personal insights into the many people involved in design, construction, and the operation of the Zeppelins are well detailed.
In all, an excellent book.
Unable to finish
The speculation about Eisenhower’s fearing V weapons so much as to alter plans for a European invasion are not true. This assertion is completely contradicted by any number of historians. Such speculations undermine the credibility of this book. I have no interest in finishing it.
