The Hidden Oil

There is something God hides before He releases it. There are things God will never develop in the spotlight. Some of the deepest work He does in a human life happens where nobody applauds, nobody sees, and nobody understands. It happens in the wilderness, in the waiting, in the silence, in the surrender, and in the crushing. The Hidden Oil takes you into the biblical mystery of what is formed when God begins pressing beneath the surface. Oil was never merely oil in Scripture. It carried prophetic significance. It marked priests and kings. It consecrated vessels. It illuminated lamps. Yet before the oil could be poured out, something had to be broken open. The olive had to be crushed. And perhaps this is one of the great mysteries of the Christian journey: God can place something inside you long before He allows it to flow through you. The hidden season is not wasted time. The crushing is not meaningless pain. The pressing can become the place where motives are purified, character is formed, dependence upon God deepens, and what has been concealed within begins to emerge. This book is for those who have wondered why God allowed the pressing, why the journey became so costly, and why the place of preparation often feels so hidden. Because sometimes God hides the oil before He reveals the vessel that will carry it.  And then, in God's appointed time, what was hidden begins to flow.
