The Historian
This second installment in the life of Nienna Harvard didn’t capture my interest as well as the first. While she continues to learn how to be the Historian to her father’s people, she also tries to keep herself free of romantic entanglements. Unfortunately, a lot of the book focuses on her complicated love life to the point of undermining the rest of her story. Glaring errors that would be caught by a good editor didn’t help, but I still want to see where life leads her after foreboding ending.
