Tyjamar ,

No background. No context.

This book is horrible for those wanting to learn about Napoleon. Ironically, this biography only reads well once you've read another biography to fill in the gaps. The book gives zero context and forces you to find knowledge on your own to understand great leaps in time and geography.

Do not buy.
