Another Five-Star Winner of a Story!
I can't seem to give any of Ms. Walker's stories less than five stars, including this short novella! This story about William (a Scottish nobleman and shipbuilder) and Emily (an English lady and widow) takes place during Christmastide and has characters in it that were in the Agents of the Crown trilogy and in The Twelfth Night Wager story. I liked the connectedness of the characters along with Ms. Walker's storytelling skill. The heroine is a strong woman and the hero is equally strong and determined, yet they entranced each other and eventually achieved their happy-ever-after. Short this story may be, but it is a wonderfully complete Regency romance.
