Publisher Description
From USA Today Bestselling Author, Christina Hovland, comes a fake relationship, one-bed trope romantic comedy.
Lucy's national news ambitions are derailed when a dangerous fan forces her into hiding in small town Colorado. Her new role behind the scenes is supposed to keep her under the radar. It’s definitely not supposed to rekindle a teenage crush on William—a disgraced reality TV star returning to salvage his family's media empire.
Undercover as a consumer reporter, William’s spotted something that’s not quite right with Lucy. He doesn’t remember her from their time on the reality TV show. But he does know that she’s hiding something, and a hidden camera honeymoon exposé provides the perfect cover to investigate her secrets.
Security, however, is the last thing on their minds when seduction leads to a game of Confessions that threatens to expose them both. Can a relationship that started as a sham survive when the cameras stop rolling?

Fantastic read!
A fun and fantastic read!!! This book has the perfect amount of suspense, laughs and love. Hidden identity and workplace romance are some of my favorite tropes.
Christina gives us amazing characters that are in the midst of personal and professional issues. Lucy and William become great friends, confidants and eventual lovers. Secrets from the past could challenge their relationship…but they have to decide if their current love can overcome events from the past.
Lucy and Williams have amazing banter, heartfelt dialogue and a beautiful love story.
A fun and fantastic read.
Loved it!!!
I’m never disappointed when reading Christina Hovland books. The Honeymoon Trap Concessions was another one of hers that I couldn’t put down. I really enjoyed the mystery and suspense this one had unlike her others. The relationship that builds between Lucy and William, whether it’s at home or work was entertaining. A perfect combination of cats, wilderness, passion, and comedy.
Rom-Com with a dash of danger
I confess…I love everything Christina Hovland writes!
This book was no exception. Lucy and Will had chemistry from the start that made the pages sizzle. The banter was spot-on. The secondary characters were well-rounded, making the story come alive (can we all say we’re looking for Katie and Jeff’s story next!).
The dash of suspense was handled well and didn’t overshadow the romance or spoil the light-hearted fun that I’ve come to expect from this fabulous author.
If you’re in need of a pick-me-up book, you can never go wrong with a Christina Hovland book!
