Publisher Description
The rules: no kissing on the mouth, no staying the night, no telling anyone, and above all… No falling in love
Anna Jones just wants to finish college and figure out her life. Falling for star quarterback Drew Baylor is certainly not on her to do list. Confident and charming, he lives in the limelight and is way too gorgeous for his own good. If only she could ignore his heated stares and stop thinking about doing hot and dirty things with him. Easy, right?
Too bad he’s committed to making her break every rule…
Football has been good to Drew. It’s given him recognition, two National Championships, and the Heisman. But what he really craves is sexy yet prickly Anna Jones. Her cutting humor and blatant disregard for his fame turns him on like nothing else. But there’s one problem: she's shut him down. Completely.
That is until a chance encounter leads to the hottest sex of their lives, along with the possibility of something great. Unfortunately, Anna wants it to remain a hook up. Now it’s up to Drew to tempt her with more: more sex, more satisfaction, more time with him. Until she’s truly hooked. It's a good thing Drew knows all about winning.
All’s fair in love and football…Game on

Favorite Book
Ive been reading contemporary romance for over a decade, and Ive reread this book annually for almost a decade; however, I am *just now* noticing that I never reviewed it?!?! Genuinely one of my favorite—if not my favorite— books. I think a lot of it has to do with how much I can relate to Anna & how much I longed for a “Drew”. Kristen Callihan is my favorite author & has been for awhile now, and her ability to write witty banter, sweetness, ache, longing, and humor, all with the perfect amount of depth so consistently is beyond me and unlike any other writer. I’ve been waiting on a new series like this and the VIP Series for what feels like forever & I hope we get one soon. Till then, I’ll just keep doing my annual rereads!
Very intense but a really good read!
I got to say, I really enjoyed this really sexually intense but heart-string romance between hot shot college quarterback, Drew and fiesty but maybe emotionally insecure Anna. At first, when they first meet, I thought maybe their sexual tension between them would maybe stretch a little longer before they actually had their first intense hook up at a campus restroom? But wow, a record of getting it on twice in a week, that was unexpected but kinda hot?!? As their regular hook ups progressed into something more, well for Drew any way because he was trying so hard to win and gain Anna’s trust throughout the book. He really wanted her to feel the same way he did from the beginning even though all they did was have a lot steamy hot encounters together before Anna finally realized how she really felt for Drew after he broke up their regular trysts they were having.
After reading this entertaining but somewhat heart wrenching romance story, I thought it was pretty good.
Just read it!
I bought this book on a whim to get back into reading. Well it definitely worked… I finished the whole book in 24 hours. The characters are amazing and the storyline follows what you would expect from a romance but with so much more depth than your classic cheesy story. 10/10 would recommend this book! Buying the sequel now.
