My love wand is on a strike.
As bad as that blows, pun unintended, it’s ten times worse for me. I’m a male escort, but not just any escort, I’m the escort. The one with a mile-long waiting list and a pristine reputation that’s very well-deserved.
Only now, I’m on hiatus. Because after years of pleasing women all over the city, my man missile decides to get finicky. And the only woman he wants? Someone I can never have—my best friend’s younger sister, the nerdy and awkwardly adorable Sienna.
She’s working at the agency this summer, keeping me organized, handling paperwork, and most importantly, keeping me on track to finish writing my book about sex and intimacy, which is due to my publisher in thirty days.
She thinks I hate her, that I don’t want her here. The truth is much more twisted. I get hard every time she walks into my office. Her wide blue eyes and pouty mouth drive me wild with desire, and if she stays, I’m not sure how much longer I can stay away from her.
Little Miss Overachiever says she’s here to help? Fine. I’m going to put her nerdy, curvy tush to work.
APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Sometimes we crave a short, sexy story without a lot of emotional angst—The Hookup Handbook delivers that little pop of spice perfectly. Male escort Case Smith has built a successful business by bringing women pleasure, but when it comes to writing his tell-all “sexpertise” manual, he’s struggling. When he hires assistant Sienna Johnson to keep him on task, the pair find themselves dancing around their intense attraction. With a touch of forbidden office romance, plenty of heat, and a smattering of conflict, this romance is a fun fling that doesn’t get weighed down by drama.

The Hookup Handbook
What another great novel by Kendall Ryan. A must read. Does not disappoint!
Much better read
I liked this one more than I did Boyfriend For Hire. I really wasn't a fan. But this one was much better. Even though Case was an Escort, he had male issues that would not allow him to perform in certain situations. That saved the book IMO. If he slept with anything with legs my opinion would be different, like in Boyfriend For Hire. Though Sienna was OK with Case's history, I was not. I am glad they used condoms. I don't know where or who he has been with. I personally wouldn't have gone for him but it wasn't my story to tell. And Case was writing a book from his "experiences". This was also not a favorite part of mine. I can see him writing a book but not on behalf of his exploits. I was also highly disappointed when Sienna asked Case to have sex with her and he turns her down. Ouch.
Other than those points this book was written well. I kinda wish there would have been more interactions with the parents. But it didn't have any bearing on my review.
I usually enjoy Kendall’s books very much, but something was missing with this one. I just couldn’t get into it, didn’t feel the chemistry at all... and it felt “hollow” somehow...
