The Hour: Part Two

The cheek happens at eight twenty-two. Early for a cruelty. Late for a mouth.

Laura is already inside a section that has not started. David kisses her. The second kiss lands on her cheek like a receipt. He does not send a second text. A second is a dog. He has been told.

Mara sees it on him before he reports it. She locks the door, tells him the lock is his, and uses her body so he can feel the difference between a rain check and a woman who did not leave. Then she puts her mouth on Laura, because a lesson that stays in the ears is a meeting. A lesson in the c**t gets kept.

The desk is the correction. The kitchen is the like. Heel of the bread. Wrist, not the ass. Ten seconds. Mouth, not cheek.
