The Hungry Ghost

Certain events in history are so profound that they become part of the collective memory of the human race. The dropping of the atom bomb on Japan in World War II is one such event. Deep down inside, every soul harbors the pain and suffering inflicted on those two horrific days in August, 1945. 


The Hungry Ghost is the story of one soul's journey, which begins on a summer morning in Nagasaki, never to end. It is a work that extends the inspiration of Butoh and 8th century Japanese poetry into the collective data of new media.
