This book is the product of over 18 years of diligent research. Mike has worked very hard to remain
objective and honest when interpreting the vast amount of information amassed, the
case knowledge gained, and the evidence and findings that led me to my suspect and ultimately
revealed his behavior and the double life he led.

Great book
Well researched . I highly recommend this book if you’re interested in the Zodiac.
Not very convincing
The Zodiac case is the greatest unsolved mystery in the annals of crime. Unfortunately it’s created a whole cottage industry of people who follow a familiar path: find someone who was in the Bay Area at the time of the attacks and try to get every piece of flimsy evidence you can find to make him be your guy. Mr. Rodelli seems to be following the same tactic here. His suspect is one Kjell Qvale, a wealthy importer of expensive foreign cars and horse enthusiast. Rodelli offers up a criminal profiler who puts forth the theory that contrary to what many believe, Zodiac was not some nothing loser with a mundane job who had no real life of any kind. He just may have been a very wealthy person who moved in big time social circles and had a secret life as a killer. Rodelli then spends a great deal of time trying to fit square pegs into round holes. He offers some lame evidence such as two of the murders occurring on the date of the births of Qvale’s parents and Qvale happening to live very close to the sight of Zodiac’s last known murder. Basically, he asks you to stretch the bounds of credibility to its max. Towards the end of the book, lo and behold, we find out Qvale’s DNA isn’t a match for Zodiac. A partial DNA of Zodiac was pulled from an envelope of one of his letters from n 2002. Rodelli then tries to argue that the San Francisco police department has a substandard method of getting accurate DNA readings. The book has a few moments where you say to yourself “ interesting”, but there’s little to back up the claims. Maybe Rodelli truly believes this is the guy, but he’s just the latest in a long line of people who aren’t the guy. Another author has put forth Ted Kazcynski and someone else tried to connect Manson to it. I’m sure we’ll soon get a book where someone claims it was Melvin Belli or someone of that sort. I tend to believe the actual Zodiac is someone who has never been in anyone’s radar. Maybe someday he’ll be discovered and we’ll finally have the truth at last. If you think it might be Qvale, then by all means buy the book. However , if you’re looking for unfettered proof that the Zodiac has at last been revealed, you’re not going to find it here.
Excellent!
The evidence is there and it sure looks like the case has beeen solved. Great read too.
