The Illustrator

The novel fits the mystery-crime genre. It is the case of a young man who strives to make an honest life after living in criminal circles as a youth. Along the way, he is drawn back into the art crimes that he knew in his earlier life. He lives in both worlds for a while but that is dangerous. His eventual way back to an honest way of life is convoluted because he must deal with law enforcement officials, criminals, and his own avaricious tendencies when it comes to art and money.
