The Image After

Months after a family tragedy, estranged siblings Alex and Carmen spend a fraught winter week circling one another in the aftermath. Insightful and self-aware yet reckless and self-destructive, brother and sister are bound together less by affection than by shared circumstances neither has fully reckoned with.

Through extensive flashbacks and interior monologues, memory and identity intrude upon the present. Old grievances resurface, new ones form, and the siblings must contend with their chaotic, volatile relationships at every turn.
