Very simple & light but entertaining short story

I bought this book to read during my vacation. I rarely read fiction, but the video trailer and description caught my interest. I wanted something simple, as I study and read a lot for work all the time. This book is exactly that - simple but still a bit entertaining.

If you're looking for a big exciting, well worded thriller... this is not your book.

If you just want something easy to read, very straight to the point, less descriptive, and short... this is your book.

One critique I would give (understanding the simple genre) is that it could have been articulated with more descriptive language. I have never read a book that was so straight to the point & matter of fact at describing major events unfolding.

I think it was entertaining enough for my vacation, but for adults who are serious readers of fiction, this may be too simplistic. Given its lack of literary artistic work, its just a quick, short story with a fairly entertaining plot. Even if it is less descriptive than I would have hoped for, I did enjoy it for my vacation.

I would highly recommend this book to children, however there seems to be a few unwarranted curse words sprinkled in once in a while. This seems to be a foolish move by the author, as it seems to pigeon hole the book & it's audience. Simple reading is great for pre-teens, but I wouldn't be fast to recommend it due to its occasional unnecessary swear words. The author may be we'll served to update the book and take out the cursing, making the short story much more recommendable for younger readers.
