A welcome return of the gang
Uncharacteristically for the Thursday Murder Club, this one peters out just a bit at the end. But that is a minor complaint about what is otherwise another delightful and often surprisingly rich entry in this wonderful series.
A lovely escape
My friends are back; evolving and not remaining static. They are still delightful and offer me such a great escape from this serious and sometimes sad and scary world. I find myself rationing the chapters so I don’t finish too soon. I want to prolong my friendships with the Thursday murder club and others revolving around them as long as possible. Thoughtful, warm, funny and intriguing… I love these books.
